Would God really want people to fight in his name?

I truly believe that when rational people think about it they will realize the term holly war is just something men made up to justify their actions. No truly Supreme Being would ever support war in their name. If the human race is going to survive we must work together. Uniting the world is something we have to do eventually; it is the only logical solution to all of our problems. What God would be against this? What Supreme Being would be so self centered that it would want people to kill it its name, and spend all of their resources worshiping him instead of spreading love and helping their fellow man?

We should believe in people. We should teach our children to treat everyone equally, to love rather than to hate. It is okay to believe in a Supreme Being, but people need to accept that others may differ in their beliefs about a Supreme Being. It is also okay to believe someone can be a good person and want to do what is right for the world even if they don’t believe in God. In the end God will decide who is right and it is not for us to judge how, or if, our fellow man worship God. People should follow their hearts in deciding how and when and what to worship. But whatever you call your God or Supreme Being you should realize that if it is truly a Supreme Being it is a kind and just being. It wants us all to get along and treat everyone fairly. If your god does not believe in peace it would not be a Supreme Being.”

So it is impossible to imagine how anyone could use their religion to justify fighting or hurting anyone! Religious War is an oxymoron.  While I am not a theologian I am willing to bet that if you put Christ, Mohamed, and Buddha in a room to discuss world problems they would not come out swinging at each other.

Labor Day is a Day to celebrate all of our hard work.

Labor Day is a day to honor all of our hard work and sacrifice, and all the hard work and labor of those that have gone before us. Unfortunately we can not forget all those people without jobs who would love to have one. Our world is getting smaller and our economic problems can not be solved regionally. We need a global view.  Unfortunately the current system does not reward people for alleviating suffering and solving our problems globally. We need to develop a system that is more efficient and we need to bring down the artificial borders and bureaucracies that stand in the way. There is a way forward, check out what ChengX has to say

Why The United Nations is failing.

The very name of the organization signifies the problem.  The United Nations is trying to promote peaceful coexistence among countries, while what we should be trying to do is unite people. The status quo they try so hard to maintain is not working. They are spending large amounts of money and energy propping up artificial boundaries of the inanimate organizations called countries or states. It does not matter if the leaders of those countries are corrupt and abusing their own people. They believe in the right of the State over the rights of individual people.

Although the United Nations spends a large percentage of their budget on peacekeeping, they have failed to stop several incidents of genocide and other atrocities throughout the world. The few times the UN has acted, it tended to act more out of interest in protecting assets and resources that were important to the countries in power, than in saving the most lives possible. Throughout the history of the United Nations, millions of people have been murdered as the world sat by and watched. One only needs to look at the statistics of what happened in Cambodia in the 1970’s, Rwanda and Bosnia-Herzegovina in the 1990’s, and Darfur in the first decade of this century. If a vote was taken by the people of the world, I am certain they would have overwhelmingly supported doing whatever it took to stop those atrocities. But the United Nations was completely ineffective when it came to saving millions of human lives.

The United Nations is not even a true democratic organization. It represents the interests of the governments of the nations who form it, and not necessarily the individuals within those nations. Even with that understanding, it is not a true democracy among the member states. The five permanent members of the Security Council can veto any important matter.  That means less that one percent of the membership can stop them from doing what is right.

The way the five permanent members gained their status was not even democratic. They simply happened to be the victors at the end of World War II. China’s seat is actually held by a different faction now as opposed to when the UN started, and Russia got to take over the seat formerly held by the Soviet Union. Other than that, there have been no changes as to who holds that awesome veto power. I am not sure why the original powers have been able to hold onto their positions for so long, but I can assure you it has nothing to do with democracy. The five permanent members of the Security Council certainly were not elected by a majority of the people in the world, and if there was an election held today it is unlikely any of them would maintain their positions.

Even the General Assembly is in no way a democracy of the world. If anything it is a Democracy of Nations. But nations are simply inanimate political structures with artificial geographical borders. Some Nations are more democratic than others, but even in the most democratic nations their citizens have very little knowledge of, or say in, what goes on at the U.N.  How can anyone call the United Nations a world democracy when the UN’s one state, one vote power structure theoretically allows states comprising just eight percent of the world population to pass a resolution by a two-thirds vote?

Political leaders are intent on protecting their artificial geographical borders, and making decisions based on what is best for their own inanimate political structure and economy. People are tired of that kind of thinking. If we want the human race to survive we must all come together. By having one country we can cut out a lot of the bureaucracy and cross border rivalries that hurt our efficiency. By uniting and working together we can save lives.

Memorial Day is a Day of remembrance.

This is a time when most Americans remember their loved ones, especially military members that have passed on. While it is good to honor those that have gone before us, it is also important to take care of those that are still here and look for ways to make the world a better place for those who are yet to come. It would nice to leave them a world where militaries are not necessary, A world where mankind has united to solve all the other problems facing us such as, hunger, poverty and disease A world we where are not longer worrying about artificial borders and drawing lines in the sand. Let’s all think of ways we can help our fellow man to leave a better world as our legacy.

It is good to have a dream. It is better to have a plan.

It seems like everyone is going crazy dreaming about winning the record lottery jackpot. It is fun to buy a ticket and dream the impossible dream, but we need to remember the lottery is a dream it is not a plan. Planning is better than dreaming. Planning to make the world better for everyone is what we should work towards. Most people believe if we unite the earth it would be great for man kind, the dream. Unfortunately many do not believe it is possible but they are wrong. It we start planning and working together we can make this happen. If enough of us start believing in the impossible we can turn dreams into reality.

We need to come together to stop tyrants

People like Kony and Assad will always exist, and we will not be able to stop them unless we come together in an effort to do so. Most people in the world are good, they are just to fragmented, which allows evil to fill the cracks. "Peace through Unity, unity through peace” ChengX.  We need to work together to find a way to solve the worlds problems. There are numerous inequities in the world with millions of people dying every year of curable diseases and hunger and violence. It is not that people don’t care; it is that they are ill informed and believe nothing can be done about it. Unfortunately the current system does not reward people for alleviating suffering and we need to develop a system that will reward the alleviation of suffering around the world

Turning dreams into reality.

Most people believe if we unite the earth it would be great for man kind. They just do not believe it is possible. If enough of us start believing in the impossible we can make it happen.

“What we long for is in the best interest of all of man kind.  A united earth makes sense and is the only way we can continue to survive and thrive as a planet. We all know this makes sense and we will spread the word.  We will let others know of our commitment and ensure that if they join us our goal of uniting the earth will be accomplished.” ChengX

The world's Destiny.

“We all know that the destiny of mankind is to live together in harmony. To alleviate suffering and make the world a better place we must rid ourselves of arbitrary geographical borders and boundaries. We need to leave regional squabbles behind and solve our problems as a united earth.”

Why should we Unite the World?

Think how much easier it would be solving the world’s environmental, health, and hunger problems if the world was one nation. How much more efficient every business and humanitarian organization would be if there was only one set of government regulations to follow. With all the money we waste on military spending and multiple countries governmental bureaucracies, we would free up enumerable resources that could be dedicated to curing disease and ridding the world of hunger. It is so simple it may work.

What Jonathan Doer has to say about ChengX’s plan

There are numerous inequities in the world with millions of people dying every year of curable diseases and hunger. It is not that people don’t care; it is that they are ill informed and believe nothing can be done about it. Unfortunately the current system does not reward people for alleviating suffering and we need to develop a system that will reward the alleviation of suffering around the world.
It will not be easy. I am tired of hearing how there were always people in poverty and there would always be people in poverty. Inequities were an inevitable part of mankind some claimed. The world has limited resources. One person alone can not help everyone. However if everyone challenges the status quo and looks for more imaginative solutions the world can be made a better place.
We need to think creatively to come up with solutions and not be afraid to try to make something happen.
A lot of people say the world can not be united. It simply can’t be done. But if some brave individuals in our past had not challenged the majority view in their time we would still be in the stone ages. No airplane, no phones, everyone subject to the rule of kings and demigods.
I hope that Mr. ChengX is listening to me and doesn’t listen to all the people that are telling him he can’t do it. He has a great idea and a great dream, and I hope you will all give him and the dream a chance. Uniting the world seems like an impossible task, and it may be impossible, but the idea is not crazy. It’s brilliant! It has been said that there is a fine line between genius and insanity. I think Mr. ChengX’s idea is right at that fine line, but on the genius side.

Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Men.

If Jesus, Mohamed, Yahweh and Buddha sat around a table to discuss what the words meant I am sure they would all be dismayed at how many people have twisted or ignored their teachings for their own purposes. I am also certain you would not hear a harsh word amongst them. You may see them shed some tears over the number of people that have said harsh words, or even worse, waged wars in their names. As you can imagine they would never come to blows over how to make the world better for everyone.

They would discuss how disappointed they are that mankind continues to waste all the tools they have been given fighting amounts themselves instead of using them to solve all the problems facing them. God would then wonder why people have not yet figured out they should be using the tools they have to unite people. God wants everyone to understand that mankind can end poverty and hunger and cure all the diseases laid in front of them if they simply use the resources and tools he has given them. We really have been given everything we need, we just need to work together and use it.

So please wish Peace on Earth and Good Will to everyone you see, but more importantly live it. Get motivated, do everything you can to bring the world closer, so we can all work together to make the world a better place.

Why should we unite the world into one country?

What are the values of a borderless world? Will for starters it would be a much more efficient world. A world where there is one fair set of laws that govern everyone.  A more humane world where the taxes and regulations are the same wherever you go and all companies and people are treated equally. A world where the best person for the job can be hired without caring where they were born or what nationality they are.  No company or individual would be at a competitive disadvantage because some other company in some other country was allowed to pollute more, endanger their workers more, or use slave labor. It is hard to imagine that any honest person in the international business arena does not wish they had such an efficient world economic system to operate in.

The benefits to society as a whole would also be immense. Government could attend to the needs of the people instead of using precious resources protecting borders, drawing lines in the sand and fighting with other countries over trivial matters. If there were no individual countries there would be no need for armies. There would be no need for wars. Think of the untold billions of dollars that have been wasted on armies over the years. If the world is united, those resources can be used to wage war on poverty and disease.

If there was just one country we could efficiently pool the world’s resources, developing better medical resources and food supplies. It would just be a matter of time before we found cures for diseases like cancer and AIDs. Without borders, there would be no need for border patrols or worrying about where a person came from. If people could move freely about the world everything would be more efficient.

While there are a lot of cultural and political barriers that must be overcome to make something like this happen it all starts by believing it is the right thing to do. I know it will not happen today or tomorrow. It will not happen next week or next year. It may not even happen in our lifetimes but it can happen. Every great dream, every great revolution, must start somewhere. Humanities path to a brighter future starts here and now with us. We can make a difference. We must make a difference.

ChengX

I am a fictional character but I want to come to life. It is my goal to unite the earth into one country. I believe if everyone worked together and we did away with borders the world would be a much better place. I will post here from time to time and all I ask is that you check in and show your support for my ideas and spread the work. If enough people believe we can make the dream come true, just like in the book that gave birth to me. Please check out my story at.
